Privacy notice

Last updated 20 October 2026

This notice explains how MXD Group Limited (“MxD Digital”, “we”) handles personal data collected through the Wajido website and trial requests.

Who we are

MXD Group Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about privacy at privacy@mxd.digital.

What we collect and why

Questions and website checks: when you type a question into the box on the home page or ask us to check a website, we record the question, the website, the language of the page and the result of the check in PostHog, together with a random identifier for your visit. This happens whatever you choose in the analytics banner, because it is how the service works and how we improve it. Don't type personal information into the box.

Free-trial requests: your company website, name, work email, the plan you choose and any question you asked. We record them in PostHog and our customer-relationship systems to set up your trial and contact you about it. We rely on your consent to contact you, which you can withdraw at any time, and on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.

Analytics, only if you allow it: pages viewed and interactions with the sample demonstrations, such as switching an engine, recorded with PostHog. Browser analytics events never include what you type into forms.

Advertising measurement: every page loads OpenAI's ChatGPT Ads pixel, whatever you choose in the analytics banner. It sends OpenAI the pages you visit and technical details of your browser, and may match contact details typed into forms using a one-way (SHA-256) hash. When you request a free trial, we also tell OpenAI that a lead was created, with a hash of your email address rather than the address itself. We use this to measure our advertising in ChatGPT.

Server logs: our hosting provider records technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. A short-lived record of request counts per IP address limits repeated form submissions.

Who processes it

PostHog stores the questions, website checks and trial requests described above on our behalf. Trial requests may also pass to MxD Digital's own customer-relationship systems, which notify our team by email. Our hosting, email and CRM providers process data on our behalf under contract. If you allow analytics, PostHog also processes browser usage data for us. OpenAI receives advertising-measurement data on every visit, as described above. We do not sell personal data.

Some providers may process data outside Saudi Arabia, the UK or the EU. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep trial requests while we are in contact with you about your trial or account, and review them at least every 12 months. Questions and website checks are kept for up to 24 months to improve Wajido. You can ask us to delete your data at any time. Analytics data is kept in aggregate for product planning.

Cookies

This site sets two cookies of its own: aeo_consent remembers your analytics choice for 180 days, and aeo_locale remembers your language if you choose one. If you allow analytics, PostHog sets its own cookies and local storage to recognise return visits. On every visit, OpenAI's pixel sets cookies (such as __oppref and __obref) that attribute visits to ChatGPT advertising. If you have turned analytics off on another MxD Digital site, that choice is respected here too. Apart from OpenAI's pixel, no advertising cookies are used.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent and to data portability. To exercise them, email privacy@mxd.digital. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office; elsewhere, to your local data-protection authority.

Changes

We update this notice when our data practices change and show the latest update date at the top.
